Conference MendelNet 2018 will take place on November 7–8, 2018 at the site of the Mendel University in Brno, Faculty of AgriSciences, Zemědělská 1, 613 00 Brno, Czech Republic. Conference invitation can be downloaded here.
Instructions for conference participants
Modes of conference participation
You are eligible to present at the conference if you:
- Submit the full version of the contribution which was accepted in two-fold peer review process.
- Submit the full version of the contribution which was NOT accepted in two-fold peer review process.
- Submit only an abstract (only on special request - for further information please contact Organizing Committee).
Registration, oral presentation, conference language, contributions limit
Registration will be held in the auditorium of the Mendel University in Brno on 7 November 2018 from 8 a.m. Welcome of conference will be from 9 a.m. for all sections at the same place. The venues of conference sessions will be specified later.
Oral presentation takes 15 minutes; it consists of a 10-minute talk followed by a 5-minute discussion. It is recommended to present in English.
Each conference participant can author two papers at most as a principal (corresponding author) while it is mandatory to present one of the papers at the event. If, for any reason, the principal author is unable to attend, it is allowed to present the paper for any member of the author’s team. We are not able to guarantee an inclusion of the paper in the conference proceedings if this is not presented at the conference.
Conference dinner and Professional visits
The event includes Conference dinner in the Mendel's building X. from 6 p.m. Participants of the conference will receive invitation cards during registration.
Professional visits will be arranged on 8 November 2018.
Participation fee, lunch, accommodation
We do not charge the participation fee, the travel and accommodation costs are paid by attendee.
For non-MENDELU participants, the lunch is ensured in the MENDELU canteen.
Conference participants who would like to be housed in the dormitories will notify at lucie.melisova@mendelu.cz; the accommodation fee will be paid by the participants.
