Dear participants of the MendelNet 2021 conference.
I would like to inform you that the conference proceedings (ISBN 978-80-7509-821-4) containing contributions which successfully underwent the oponent procedure can be found here.
Furthermore, the conference proceedings will be sent to Clarivate Analytics for evaluation in order to be covered in prestigious scientific database WoS.
Conference participants from MENDELU must use the form „Hlášenka o vzniku výsledku vědy a výzkumu“ in order to report their research results.
With kind regards,

About the Conference MendelNet 2021
Life’s one giant and amazing enterprise that tends to repeat itself, and so do the conferences. And for all annoying covid-19 losses and restrictions, it is all too easy to forget there is a lot to like and love and current state of affairs is just a small chapter that will be, sooner or later, part of the textbook history.
Science as such will always find a way to go. It has been doing so since the birth of a man as it is, at its very core, one of the man’s greatest inventions, designed to serve society for greater good and, sooner or later, overcoming obstacles, no matter how difficult or frightening they may seem.
And that’s where our dedicated team of conference organizers comes in, of course, kickstarting the preparation process of 28th MendelNet – the Ph.D. students conference and a fixture of conference circuit.
Last year we kept things going but the form had to be changed because of the virus. So, instead of usual beehive of activity, unexpected outcomes, and fruitful intellectual exchange, we migrated the contributions and editorial process into cyberspace and the off-line conference took a-well-deserved break.
This November, we would love to see each other again because, despite the ever-faster Internet connections, the virtual event was lacking something authentic and substantial and felt, well, very distanced.
I can’t promise you anything in these most uncertain of times. But I am 100% sure all the men and women behind this year’s conference will do their best to bring MendelNet back to its live format – with its warmth, friendship, and much needed and heated debate.
I look forward to seeing with all of you
