Instructions for the active participants of MendelNet 2017 conference

Conference dates

MendelNet 2017 conference dates are 8 and 9 November 2017. Wednesday 8 November was declared as a dean’s off day at Faculty of AgriSciences.

MendelNet 2017 conference programme

8 November 2017

• Registration of participants will take place in the foyer of the AULA (great hall, Mendel University in Brno, Zemedelska 1, building A) from 8:00 a.m.

• Opening ceremony in AULA starts at 9:00 a.m. (all sections).

• The active participants are kindly asked to follow the moderator of their section to the lecture room where they will be able transfer their presentations into the PC.

• The presentation must not exceed 10 minutes.

• After the presentation, there will be a 5-minute discussion.

• Lunch will be held from 12:30 to 13:30 in the canteen MENDELU (external participants).

• Official ceremony of awarding the best contributions will take place in AULA at 5:00 p.m.

• Conference dinner will be held in the building X from 6:00 p.m. (conference participants will receive invitation cards during registration).

9 November 2017

• The meeting point for Biotech pavilion tour, held on Thursday morning (9:00 a.m.), is in front of the building M (main entrance).

The MendelNet 2017 conference is competition-based. The students are asked to participate in the discussions.
